The category of club membership offers clubs and syndicates the opportunity to offer FOSAF membership to their members at a discounted subscription ("sub") rate.
This will be full individual membership of FOSAF but managed through the club secretariat.
The principle is that:
- the clubs are responsible for collecting the names and contact details (email addresses) and subs from their members;
- The subs and the details should be then forwarded to FOSAF’s secretariat ASAP but no later than 90 days after renewal/collection;
- The renewal dates will vary from club to club but will be the date that the club collects the subs from their members;
- The FOSAF secretariat will liaise with the relevant club secretariates to ensure circulation of newsletters and any other relevant FOSAF information. I.e., the circulation will be via the Clubs;
- If a person is member of more than one club they would have to nominate through which club their FOSAF membership sub would be paid.
- Club members are eligible for FOSAF discounts from applicable Supporters.
The club membership sub is set at half the prevailing individual “non-club” membership sub. Non-paying honorary/life members are not included.
Clubs can choose to make this compulsory or not. Clubs who implement this membership system on a compulsory basis will be awarded Silver Supporter membership at no charge.
