I had great fly fishing designs when planning my December holiday to Kei Mouth. The day I got there the river came down after heavy rains in the upper catchment region. The water was chocolate brown and left me no option but to look on with a beer in hand. The bait anglers had better luck. Blacktail, kob and a huge raggy came out of the sea and river mouth.
