We have had plenty of rain but despite this the estuaries are still reasonably clear. Very few flyfishers have been out on the water but there is a good chance of success as the water is warming with the westerlies so grunter and kob may be targeted as well as young garrick. We also look forward to the adult garrick which will soon start moving southwards from the KZN coast where they spawn.
